Ingredients:
- Fusilli, 200g (or your favourite short pasta)
- Sausage, 3pcs, sliced
- Umezu Octopus (梅酢たこ), 70g
- Cherry Tomato, 1/2 cup, halved
- Broccoli, 1/2 Head
- Red Onions, 1/4 pcs, Finely Chopped
Condiments:
- Olive Oil
- Lemon Juice
- Salt
- Cracked Pepper
- Sugar
Garish:
- Parsley Flakes
How to make:
Preparations:
Fusilli & Broccoli Florets
- Boil generous amount of salted water. Cook the pasta to al dente according to the package instructions.
- At the same time, wash and cut the broccoli florets into tiny pieces.
- Throw in the broccoli and cook for 2 minutes.
- Drain in a colander, then rinse with cold water.
Pan Fried Sausage
- Heat the oil in a pan, add the sliced sausage, cook until browned and cooked through.
Steps:
- In a mixing bowl, add chopped red onion, olive oil, lemon juice, salt, pepper and sugar.
- Shake the pasta and broccoli florets once more, then add it to the bowl.
- On top, place the halved cherry tomatoes, pan fried sausage and omezu octopus.
- Stir gently to combine. Taste and add more flavour if necessaries.
