Unagi Kabayaki Inari Sushi うなぎ蒲焼稲荷寿司



Hope this bento can give some energy to my husband, who needs extra workdays on weekend.

Here’s my short recipe🪄


  • 1 piece Unagi Kabayaki 
  • 4 pieces Inari-age (稲荷揚げ) / Seasoned Abura-age 
  • 1 cup Rice, Cooked
  • 2 teaspoons Sushi Vinegar 
  • Sweet Soy Sauce (optional)
  1. Remove the inari-age from the package. Drain any excess juice / sauce from the inari-age package. 
  2. Cut at the edge of the inari-age, to create pockets.

  3. Cut the Unagi into 7mm wide and heat it in the microwave for 3 minutes. (Tips: To have a nice cut, I cut the Unagi while its frozen)
  4. Add the Sushi Vinegar into the cooked rice and mix well.


  5. Then stuff the rice into each Inari age piece, top with the Unagi and drizzle with sweet soy sauce.
