🍱 Easy Oven Baked Mackerel 🍱 Beef Rolled Enoki 


Another easy dish that my 11 years old Daughter can make it. 

  • 2 MACKEREL FILLETS
  • OLIVE OIL
  • SALT and PEPPER
  • LEMON / LIME, Halved

Prep Time: 5 minutes 

Cook Time: 15 minutes 


Steps

  1. Pull out any bones from the mackerel fillet using kitchen tweezers.
  2. Brush olive oil with a pastry brush over the mackerel skin. Season the fillet with salt and freshly cracked black pepper.
  3. Place mackerel fillets skin side up. (I lined baking tray with cooking paper for easy cleaning.) Bake the fillets at preheated oven of 200°C for about 15 minutes, or until the skin turns brown & crisp. 
  4. Serve with the lemon / lime.

If you like a simple Japanese dip, you can add some grated daikon (White Radish) to a small saucer of light soy sauce or ponzo sauce.
