The rolls are very easy and flexible dishes you can make in a short time. I always use Pork slices, beef slices or bacon slices to roll with some vegetables, like Enoki, Asparagus, Cheese, Cucumbers Slices, Carrots… etc.
And the Sautéed Beef and Onions in Pepper Sauce, it is also easy and won’t take you more than 10 mins.
Pork Rolled Enoki
- Enoki 1 pack
- Pork Slices 8pcs
- Teriyaki Sauce 3 tablespoons
- Roasted Sesame Seeds 1 Dash (optional)
Prep Time: 10 minutes
Cook Time: 5 minutes
- Brush the loose dirts off the ends of enoki mushrooms with a paper towel, trim the ends off and set aside.
- Pick a small bunch of enoki mushrooms and wrap them with pork slices. Repeat until all ingredients are used up.
- Transfer the pork enoki wraps into a pan.
- Turn to medium heat, pan fry the wraps until all sides of pork are cooked. Add Teriyaki sauce and turn to small heat, cook for 2 mins.
- Transfer the pork enoki wraps onto a plate, sprinkle on top roasted sesame seeds to serve.
Sautéed Beef and Onions in Pepper Sauce
Prep Time: 5 minutes
Cook Time: 8 minutes
- Beef slices 0.5 pound
- Onion, Sliced 0.5 pcs
- Pepper Sauce 2 tablespoons
- Mirin 2 teaspoons
- Sugar 2 teaspoons
- Garlic, Sliced 2 cloves
- Whisk Pepper Sauce and sugar in a small bowl, set aside.
- Add oil to the wok, sauté garlic slices over medium to medium-high heat for 1 min, add onion slices and sauté another 3-4 minutes until browned and soft.
- Add the beef slices into the wok, stir fry with onion slices for about 1 minute.
- Add the sauce evenly over beef and onion, simmer for 3 minutes until the sauce has thickened.
