🍱 Homemade Meatballs with Japanese Curry
Homemade Meatballs
- 500g Pork Minced
- Olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, finely chopped
- Onion, halved and chopped
- Salt and Pepper
- 1 teaspoon Mirin
- 1 teaspoon Soy sauce
- In a large bowl, combine the pork mince, garlic, onion with a wooden spoon or your hands.
- Place a sheet of non-stick paper on a large baking tray and set aside. Using your hands, take a small handful of the meat mixture and roll into small balls, placing them on the tray.
- In a deep pan, heat some olive oil over medium-high heat, and fry the meatballs until brown – around 8 minutes, turning every two minutes or so. Put aside.
Curry
- 2 Blocks Curry Roux 中辛 (chuukara)
- 1 Carrot chopped
- Onion halved and chopped
- Stir-fry carrot and onion with oil in a large skillet on medium heat for approx. 5 min.
- Add water and bring to boil, then add Meatballs
- Reduce heat, add the curry cubes and slowly let it dissolve with a spoon or chopsticks.
